The Top Ten Darkest Books I've Ever Read
Why I Love Reading Dark Novels Maybe something’s wrong with me; I don’t know, but I just love reading dark novels. Whether it’s a horror story of a teenage girl laying waste to her hometown with her telekinetic powers or a grimdark fantasy story of an utterly despicable boy’s journey to become emperor, my taste is piqued by the exploration of the darkest aspects of the human condition and the world around us. Dark books (or movies, TV shows, etc.) allow me to ponder these concepts whilst being entertained, and I love them for it.
